I've been asked a number of times, when is the best time to hire a photographer for your wedding. Ideally shortly after your engaged to insure that you get the photographer you want. I would also say given a 1 year or more engagement at least 6 to 8 months before your wedding. The same would go for anyone that is service oriented. ( caterers, dj's, venues ). This increases the chances that you will get your pick of each. This allows you to enjoy the time leading up to your wedding!
